Mycophenolic Acid is usually given twice a day.
Injection form of Generic CellCept is given through a needle placed into a vein. Generic CellCept must be given slowly through an IV infusion, and can take at least 2 hours to complete. Injection is usually given within 24 hours after your transplant. You may be given the injection for up to 14 days before you switch to the oral (tablet) form of CellCept.
Tablet form of Generic CellCept is taken with a full glass of water. It is better to take Generic CellCept on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
