In case you take Bondronat tablet once a month, take it on the same day each month and always first thing in the morning.
After Bondronat usage it is not recommended to lie down or recline for at least 60 minutes.

Bondronat (Boniva) Missing of dose
Do not take double dose. If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule.

Symptoms of Bondronat overdosage: nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, muscle cramps, numbness or tingling, tight muscles in your face, seizure (convulsions), irritability, and unusual thoughts or behavior.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) away from moisture and heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.

Do not use Bondronat if you have severe kidney disease, low blood levels of calcium (hypocalcemia), or a problem with your esophagus (the tube that connects your mouth and stomach).
Do not take any other medicines including vitamins, calcium, or antacids for at least 60 minutes before or after taking a Bondronat tablet.
Be careful with Bondronat if you take aspirin or other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
Be careful with Bondronat if you suffer from or have a history of a vitamin D deficiency, kidney disease, an ulcer in your stomach or esophagus, trouble swallowing.
Be careful with Bondronat if you are going to have dental work (especially surgery).
Avoid milk and other dairy products for at least 60 minutes after taking Bondronat (except in the case of overdose as stated above).
Do not lie down for at least 1 hour (60 minutes) after you take Bondronat tablet.
It can be dangerous to stop Bondronat using suddenly.
